Swara Bhasker defends Shah Rukh Khan: He is an example of decent conduct, an inspiration – Times of India

Swara Bhasker has expressed support to Shah Rukh Khan with her latest social media post. The actress shared that she looks up to SRK and sent love to his family in this tough hour. “Shahrukh Khan is an example of grace & decent conduct. To me, he represents the best qualities of India as an idea. He is an inspiration to me personally. Sending him & Gauri love, strength & all my prayers!” tweeted the actress.

Previously, filmmaker Hansal Mehta had voiced his thoughts on social media, stating that Bollywood had become a punching bag. In a series of tweets the ‘Scam’ director wrote, “Being a celebrity, being a star, being from ‘Bollywood’ means your emotion, your torment and your concern as a father become a matter of public consumption, heartless abuse and ruthless judgement . Bollywood is not a place, not a company and definitely not some mafia. It is a loosely coined term for a large number of individuals who work really hard to create, to entertain, to engage and unlike many other professions are always vulnerable to criticism, scrutiny and abuse. I don’t know or have never appreciated the term Bollywood. What I do know is that this term and the individuals connected to it are a favorite punching bag and diversionary vehicle for a few divisive, abusive and inefficient set of some cowardly invisible people.”

Shah Rukh Khan is gaining support from Bollywood after his son Aryan Khan was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau. The star son has been lodged at the Arthur Road jail and the HC has listed his bail appeal for October 26.
